Before I DieI cried, a lot. I just couldn't stop. Who could after what they told me? I was only a few days past my sixteenth birthday when I found out. There was so much I wanted to do before I died.   
"Mallory, dear, did you hear me?" I looked to the voice expectantly. "I said you can try a treatment, but it probably won't help." Finally I felt as if all my tears had been expended. I couldn't talk, couldn't even move for fear of knowing it was all reality. My thoughts were racing incoherently in my mind, but I was able to catch a few with some work: Why hadn't they found out sooner? Why me? I hate doctors.
